Everything we do at Leave It To Me is customized for you, our client. Choose the most convenient method for you and tell us the property access instructions in the description box. Most high rises and apartment communities have a system and are happy to give us access to your unit with your permission.
Yes, we understand that needs and schedules change. You can cancel your booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled service for no fee. Cancelling in less than 24 hours requires a forfeit of your payment
Currently, our system works most efficiently, and cost effectively for you, by allowing scheduling in time windows during the morning and afternoon. If you’re not flexible and need an exact time please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate you.
You are welcome to be home if you’d like, but most customers prefer to give our cleaning team room to get the job done efficiently without getting in anyone’s way.
A tip is not expected but always appreciated. If you want to show your appreciation to your housekeeping provider, you can leave them cash or you can tip via the invoice.
You may cancel your cleaning within 24 hours. If you do not cancel within that time there will be a cancellation fee of $35. Cancellations made after the start of your service window will forfeit the amount paid. Please refer to the general section for more information.
Our team’s job is to clean the surfaces of your home. If there is a great deal of clutter, it makes our job much harder and our time less productive. We recommend that you pick up clothes, shoes, clutter, etc. before our team members arrive. We are not asking you to clean, that is our job, but we want to make sure our team member can concentrate on cleaning and not organizing. For safety and process efficiency, it is important that you inform us of any security, pet, or access precautions we should take or any other specifics about your household. No, we are full-service which means we provide all the cleaning supplies. However, if you have special products you would like used, we are happy to do so. Please leave any special supplies on the counter with a note.
We understand that all apartments or homes are different. Please choose the unit size that is closest to the room and bath count of your home. If you do not believe that there is an accurate comparison in our current selection, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get you set up.
We always strive to exceed client expectations. If you feel the quality of your cleaning is not what you expected, please email us at email@example.com within 48 hours and we will re-do our missed items at no extra charge.
Safety of our team and of your pets are our first priority. We have certain requirements to safeguard your pets and our team. We simply ask that you please separate all animals, except for cats, from your cleaning team, prior to arrival or while they are cleaning. Kenneling or removing the animal from the apartment is the preferred option. The Leave It To Me team will not be able to clean if an unsecured animal is present in your home.
Provide us with access to your rental via leasing office, concierge, lock box, or smart lock.
Leave It To Me team members are trained to take the necessary precautions to avoid anyincidents at your home but we also carry insurance to give you complete peace of mind. If you have any sentimental or valuable items that you consider irreplaceable, please put them aside before your cleaning as an extra precaution.
We provide an in-home service using your machines and supplies.
We encourage you to ensure all your personal items have been removed from your pockets. In the event we do find something in your pockets we will leave it on the counter where it is easily visible to you.
Yes, we sort by white, dark, color and towels.
Unfortunately, we do not wash items individually or launder delicate items. However, you can book our dry-cleaning service to ensure that your clothes get taken to the cleaners. We’re not responsible for delicate clothing that was left inside the same basket as the regular clothing.
That is up to you. Clothing can be hung and put away or folded and left on the bed.
The only way to ensure that clothes don't get mixed up when folding is by washing the clothes separately.
Yes, we use the cleaning detergent that you provide. Many households have different allergies or preferences so it’s important we use your supplies.
Laundry is not pressed, however if you would like something taken to the dry cleaners to be pressed please refer to our dry-cleaning service.
We know that moving can be a hassle and we want to help alleviate part of that stress. We have a service specifically for clients who are moving. Simply book our move out cleaning. This service is guaranteed to pass your community’s inspection. In the rare occurrence that the cleaning does not pass your community’s inspection, we will work directly with your community office to resolve the issue. However, this guarantee does not cover maintenance items or damages beyond cleaning.

Yes, we will completely pack up your space and get it ready for your next destination. And the best next step is to book our move out cleaning service for the easiest move you’ve ever had.
Yes, we will completely unpack your things and place all your belongings in their designated areas. We want to make your life and move easier.
Yes, we pride ourselves on being the experts. We would be more than happy to purchase the items you need to maximize your space. The items will be charged in addition to time spent purchasing the items. Alleviating another step and making your life easier.
Under furniture/sofas (other than what vacuuming can reach), windows, walls, inside cabinets (including china cabinets), inside closet (other than vacuuming or mopping if empty), hoarding (high levels of trash/debris), outside-apartment areas, dishes (dishes will be placed inside the dishwasher if it is empty), putting away multiple loads of dishes, we do not remove books from bookshelves, we do not climb higher than a 1-step stool. Higher items will be dusted with an extension duster if reachable, inside the fridge/freezer, laundry or fold/hang clothes, towels, for health reasons, we will not clean blood, feces, vomit or urine from humans nor animals. We do offer these services as add-ons.
We understand things happen and you might need a last-minute cleaning. However, we recommend scheduling any services ahead of time. Please contact us and we will try our best to accommodate your cleaning needs.
Our Standard Cleaning is designed for homes that have been professionally cleaned in the last 2-3 weeks. If it has been 3 weeks or more since your last cleaning, we suggest upgrading to Deep Clean as our Standard Cleaning might not bring your home back to peak cleanliness
Everything we do is customized for our client’s need. If you have certain areas you want cleaned, you can simply purchase just the amount of hours you need with our customized clean option.
Let us know as soon as your rental booking is confirmed so that we have ample time to add this to our schedule and get your place cleaned before your guest arrive.
A 20-30% fee will be assessed to the receipt - the fee will depend on travel time/ distance.
For each unit size and cleaning package, we have a maximum man-hour allotment to complete our checklist. In some cases, we may not be able to complete our checklist in the allotted time. If this happens, we will notify you immediately upon completing your cleaning.
If Leave It To Me cannot gain access based on your action/inaction we will access travel compensation. Please refer to the general section to see more information on the travel compensation.
We strive for consistency with our clients, but schedules don’t always align and we must book a different member of our team to take care of your pet. We hope at some point, all of our team members get a chance to meet your furry family member.
Our goal is to make sure you and your pet are comfortable in any situation with our team. We would love to arrange a meet and greet prior to the services or you are welcome to be there at the time of service.
All of our team is highly screened and vetted. We want the best team for our clients. Our pet sitters go through a rigorous screening process including a background check and extensive onboarding process. We’re also fully bonded and insured.

After the walk, we send you a text, letting you know how the walk went with a picture of your furry friend.
Our pet services are provided per client. The walks are designed as individual or single household walks. We may provide group walks on special request or on a case-by-case basis.
We keep our client’s needs in the forefront of our planning and scheduling. We work to get the walk as close to the requested time as possible but time you select will be an estimated time of arrival.
In regard to our personal assisting services, a block of time consists of 10 total hours.
Yes, just like everything we do, personal assisting is customizable for our clients. Your personal assisting time can be broken up as needed. Please utilize your time within the year because it does expire after one year from the time purchased.

Yes, if you choose to have two or more assistants you are utilizing your hours for each person.
